Alphacool is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice HVAC-R Technician, to provide assistance and install, calibrate, troubleshoot and service equipment, systems and hardware.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist tradesmen with the install, maintenance, testing and servicing a large range of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in accordance with Best Practice and Australian Standards
• Assist in attending breakdowns and fault finds
• Assist in conducting preventative maintenance and repair services
• Assist in reviewing recently serviced equipment and ensure performance is appropriate
• Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC-R systems
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions effectively
• Assist with providing service reports to clients/customers
• Document service performed and maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians, technical employees and customers
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Must work toward achieving the competencies set out in RTO Training Plan
