About The Job Fortis Institute in Pensacola, Fl is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC instructor to join its faculty. Fortis Institute provides educational programs that deliver real-life career skills in high demand occupation We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC Technician. This is a part-time (22 hours per week), professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC-R courses. The typical teaching load is two courses per six week term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Successful applicants must have at least three years of experience working in HVAC-R service positions. Certifications are a plus. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but will be provided as part of our orientation and ongoing development training. Applicants must be positive and motivated to work with our students and provide positive training and advising to help them achieve their career goals. Qualifications * Diploma required * EPA Certification * At least three years of experience in the field  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated and results driven * Prior teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
