With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an experienced and highly motivated HVAC/R Technician with a license to join our dynamic team at Logan International Airport. Job Summary This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled technician with deep expertise in HVAC systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while ensuring critical systems operate efficiently and reliably. Compensation: $68.00- $75.00 per hour (depending on experience) PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, 401k Available Shifts: 6:00am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm -10:30pm, 10:00am – 6:30pm. Days off to be Determined Responsibilities: Lead HVAC operations including installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, VAVs, RTUs, air handlers, pumps, etc.) Troubleshoot complex issues using advanced tools and system schematics Collaborate with building operations teams to ensure HVAC systems support daily facility demands Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and apprentices Maintain detailed records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Ensure HVAC systems comply with local, state, and federal codes and environmental standards Respond to emergency calls and after-hours issues as needed Support capital project work and vendor coordination for HVAC upgrades and retrofits Requirements 7+ years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial settings EPA Universal Certification Demonstrated expertise in HVAC system troubleshooting and repairs Strong knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and energy controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications Comfortable working independently and leading team efforts Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in specific HVACR systems or technologies (e.g., NATE certification) Experience working in commercial and/or industrial HVACR settings Knowledge of environmental regulations related to HVACR systems and refrigerants. (R-22, R-410A, R-134A)
