We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an experienced HVAC/R Technician to our dynamic team. Scope of work The successful candidate is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and resolve problems quickly. Strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills are essential to excel in this position. Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k Shift: 7:00am – 3:30 pm. Monday - Friday. Shift flexibility required to respond to emergency calls as operational needs determine Job Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment- including walk-in freezers, coolers, ice machines, rack systems Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in commercial equipment and perform necessary repairs Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hot and cold commercial equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency Respond to service calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines in HVAC/R work, including proper handling of refrigerants and other hazardous materials Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Document all work performed, including repairs and maintenance tasks, to maintain accurate service record Provide support and work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors Requirements HVAC Certification EPA 608 Certification NATE Certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial and/or industrial environments Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, principles, and applicable regulations Knowledge of refrigerants and environmental regulations Proficiency in troubleshooting commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including ice machines, low-boy coolers, walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, and other commercial refrigerant systems Experience using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot HVAC systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience (final approval subject to the Company’s automobile insurance carrier criteria) Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
