Essential Functions for the HVAC/R Technician II Position: Perform Preventive Maintenance on controls, pumps, heating, ventilation, and related equipment. Ability to diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in the commercial heating/air conditioning system for system repair and/or replacement needs. Tests and calibrates electronic HVAC and building environmental controls, ensuring equipment is functioning properly. Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including those outside regular business hours. Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and replacements on equipment. Utilize the CMMS work order system. Additional Duties as assigned. Requirements for the HVAC/R Technician II Position: Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R. Basic computer knowledge. Must have the ability to complete required safety classes. Personal hand tools. Must have current HVAC and EPA License. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen before employment.
