Job Details Job Location: Charon Shared Services - Lincoln, NE 68506 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Category: Facilities We are looking for an HVAC-R Technician to join our team to provide support to multiple entities including Lincoln Surgical Hospital, Eye Surgical Associates, Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics and Nebraska Surgery Center. The HVAC-R Technician is responsible for maintaining Heating/Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration Systems; identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; and ensuring that adequate materials are available to complete all Preventive and Restorative Maintenance assignments, in a timely manner. Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. Job duties include but not limited to: Diagnoses malfunctions of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems. Ensures routine maintenance is performed on all mechanical systems and building components in accordance with manufactures guidelines, if applicable. Operates and maintains HVAC and Mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, O&M’s and design specifications. Performs routine general maintenance and repairs in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical Systems. Cleans and repairs Air Handling Units, Valves, Dampers, Heat Exchangers, Closed Systems, Boilers, Chillers, Thermostats, Variable Air Volume Systems, as well as any other combination of heating/cooling units and associated equipment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. HVAC-R certification required. Valid state driver’s license required.
