About The Role Ventia are partnered with the DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety) to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams. The Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Technician will play a key role in the team and operate across the Lara, VIC region of facilities for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities across the sites. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high-quality facility management and maintenance services Complete planned maintenance activities across Refrigeration/Air Conditioning systems associated with large facilities Identify and rectify equipment and infrastructure faults in a time critical environment Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions Inspect and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment and chilled water supply systems as required Minor works including assembly, installation, testing, and maintain heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment and appliances Work order management for all works completed within required timeframes High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work. About You: You will be qualified and have experience in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning working in a time critical environment with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance. You will also possess: Well developed communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relations.
