Description Position Overview: An HVAC Retail Installer is responsible for the installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This includes working with various equipment, following safety protocols, and potentially assisting customers with system selection and energy efficiency. Responsibilities may also include troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and performing routine maintenance. Key Responsibilities: • Install ductwork, including supply and return ducts, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and sealing. • Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other piping components according to specifications and regulations. • Mount and secure HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, heat pumps, furnaces, and condensing units, ensuring proper alignment and clearances. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. • Coordinate with other tradespeople on the construction site. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Adhere to safety regulations and building codes. Requirements • Minimum of one year of experience in HVAC installation and have your EPA certification. • Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report. • Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute plumbing jobs • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check. • Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing, and kneeling. • Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations. • Knowledge of HVAC systems and components. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
