Our supply branch in Burnaby is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic individual to support our team. The HVAC Sales Counter Specialist will be the face representing ECCO Supply to our in-branch customers and will process all sales inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post –Secondary Education – an asset
  • Previous Sales experience, including fireplace/ AC sales experience - an asset
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to multi-task data-entry and order processing efficiently
  • Ability to adapt/response to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Must be willing to attend educational courses to supplement their existing professional experience for a period of time deemed suitable by management
Responsibilities
  • Process all telephone sales calls as quickly as possible.
  • Deal with customers at counter, in a professional and expedient manner
  • Phone customers when back orders are available and also on brokerage items.
  • Handle all inquiries from branches as quickly as possible.
  • Co-ordinate all out of town shipments and special instructions orders with shipping department
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales catalogue with pricing, specifications, etc.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers, customers, suppliers and supervisors.
  • Maintain counter sales area including showroom and displays in a clean and organized fashion.
  • Telephone solicitation (when time permits) to develop new customers.
  • Participate in yearly inventory count.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
