HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN Pay: $23–$35 per hour + spiff and bonus opportunities POSITION OVERVIEW The HVAC Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality service by diagnosing issues efficiently, completing repairs accurately, and performing preventative maintenance to maximize system performance. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role also involves collaboration with team members to resolve complex issues and uphold the company’s standards for service excellence, safety, and reliability. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Diagnose, service, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment * Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system performance checks * Respond promptly and professionally to service calls and customer concerns * Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repairs, and maintenance recommendations * Collaborate with fellow technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex issues * Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities * Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations ---------------------------------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Valid HVAC Technician certification or license * Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience * EPA certification for refrigerant handling * Experience servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems * Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record * Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities ---------------------------------------- SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Advanced technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components * Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship * Dependable, professional, and safety-focused ----------------------------------------
