Description
Description At Authority HVAC, we’re redefining what it means to work in commercial HVAC. Our team supports some of the largest retail brands in the country — but we never forget the people behind the tools. We invest in our technicians and office staff with training, technology, and a company culture built on respect, transparency, and long-term growth. We perform light commercial preventative maintenance, repairs, and unit replacements in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Florida, maintaining over 7,000 store locations nationwide. We value people with a growth mindset, resiliency, and personal drive — and we invest in our employees through training, technology, and a culture that rewards doing things the right way. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to support our multi-market operations by preparing accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for HVAC service and replacement projects. This is a hands-on, data-driven role that connects the dots between field operations, vendors, and customers to ensure every project starts on the right foot. If you’re ready to join a growing company that values craftsmanship and character, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and let’s build something great together. What You’ll Do Prepare cost estimates for repair, replacement, and retrofit projects across all markets. Submit quotes to customers through their preferred platform. Review scopes of work, service reports, and site data to develop accurate proposals with limited information. Gather and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors; identify unique requirements and incorporate them into pricing. Work closely with Area Service Managers, Project Managers, and the Parts Department to align equipment selections, lead times, and labor forecasts. Create and issue purchase orders for approved work in coordination with Procurement. Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure all parties remain informed of estimate status and progress. Support internal process improvement by identifying opportunities for cost savings, better communication, and faster turnaround. Why You’ll Love Working Here Be part of a company with a 19-year track record of steady growth. Work with an experienced leadership team that values your input. Join a culture that promotes from within and rewards innovation. Collaborate with people who actually care about doing things the right way.
