Job Duties: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Perform routine maintenance services, including filter changes, system cleaning, and performance checks. Inspect HVAC components—such as thermostats, electrical systems, refrigerant levels, motors, and ductwork—to identify issues and recommend solutions. Provide customers with clear, accurate explanations of system conditions and repair or replacement options. Prepare and present estimates for recommended services or equipment upgrades. Complete all required documentation, including service notes, checklists, and customer records, in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in clean, safe working order. Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE while performing work. Promote preventative maintenance agreements, system upgrades, and energy-efficient solutions when appropriate. Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion. Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training to maintain certifications and improve skills. Other job duties as assigned. Requirements HVAC experience (1–3+ years) and EPA 608 certification. Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. Knowledge of HVAC tools, diagnostics, and local codes. Valid driver’s license; able to pass background and drug screening. Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in varied environments. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Professional, dependable, and comfortable using tablets/service software.
