Description This is a full-time, direct placement role at CKP Heating and Cooling. CKP Heating and Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The HVAC Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and providing maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, heat pumps, commercial equipment, boilers, electric motors, exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, capacity controls, multiple types of compressors, split systems, rooftop units, and building controls. Job Responsibilities: Travel to service calls daily as scheduled. Perform consultations with customers. Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods. Inspect current HVAC systems for efficiency and operation. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Conduct performance tests with specialized tools. Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues. Repair damaged HVAC systems. Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers. Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, tools, and HVAC resources. Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations.
