We are looking for a HVAC Service Technician to efficiently undertake a variety of heating/ refrigeration tasks ranging from repairing gas supply lines to maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs and should be able to work independently with confidence and solve problems quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be accepted immediately into our team with a permanent and full-time position. Pay range that is offered will be based off experience.
Responsibilities and Duties·
- Providing Preventative Maintenance Service and repairs to ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Assisting with customers’ queries in a respectful manor
- Fill out all necessary invoice documentation for each customer
- Elaborate repairs to code and in a safe manor
- On call service (mostly in winter months)
- Able to work alone

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
• 2+ years proven experience as an HVAC technician
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of gas / propane boiler systems, furnaces, radiants, unit heaters, water heaters and all other heating and ventilation systems as well.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in awkward spaces

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
