Description Position Title: Maintenance Technician – Level 1 Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-time, Hourly Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour Reports To: Service Manager Expected Hours to Work: Flexible work Schedule including weekdays and weekends, 8:00am – 8:00pm Position Summary: To assist in providing maintenance and service calls on residential heating and air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high- quality experience. Arrive promptly at scheduled jobsites and follow dispatch instructions. Operate company vehicles safely and comply with traffic laws. Report any problems with tools, equipment, or vehicles promptly. Communicate with customers and collect payments as directed. Assist in gathering information for replacement needs and scheduling estimate appointments. Educate customers about residential planned maintenance agreements, additional products, and replacement options following company guidelines. Develop basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing principles, service tools, and customer service skills. Perform filter changes and basic repairs on residential gas furnace, air conditioning systems, toilets, sinks, and drains. Conduct Confidence Club inspections and perform basic upgrades/repairs on identified items during maintenance inspections. Install Edelman accessories. Complete all service-related forms accurately in ServiceTitan. Attend required training programs as set by the company. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Must pass drug and background screens Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing Ability to work with tools used in the job in a safe manner Training Requirements: Basic understanding of electrical principles and ability to read schematics Completion of 14-day HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Basics training program Completion of Service Titan Navigation Training Completion of Edelman Confidence Club process training Completion of Generac Air-Cooled prerequisite training Nate Ready to Work Exam Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environmental conditions. Reach, bend, stoop, walk, sit, crawl, squat as necessary. Lift and carry objects, including heavy equipment up to 100 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders.
