QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience preferred.
  • Valid G2/G1 Gas License (for Ontario) or equivalent certification and/or valid 313D or 313A Refrigeration License
  • EPA or ODP certification.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces, etc.).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems. This role is field-based and requires travel to client sites to ensure timely and high-quality service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
  • Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and emergency service calls on residential or commercial HVAC systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to determine system functionality and ensure compliance with applicable codes.
  • Install replacement parts, refrigerants, belts, motors, thermostats, and filters as required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and costs.
  • Document service reports, recommendations, and completed work via mobile app or paper logs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, local HVAC codes, and company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, products, and technology.
