In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF, chillers, and heat pumps. Your day-to-day work will involve preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics, and breakdown repairs, as well as refurbishing refrigeration systems and replacing faulty components when required. You’ll manage both electrical and mechanical aspects of HVAC systems, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality, warranty requirements, and health and safety compliance. The role also requires responding promptly to emergency callouts, maintaining accurate logs and records, and completing allocated jobs within agreed timeframes using electronic job scheduling systems. Beyond the technical scope, you’ll play a key role in nurturing strong relationships with clients and colleagues, providing professional service and clear communication. You’ll need to work independently at times, while also contributing to the after-hours/on-call roster as part of our supportive nationwide team. What We’re Looking For Trade qualification in air conditioning/refrigeration (3+ years’ experience) Experience in commercial HVAC servicing, repairs, and maintenance EWRB Electrical Service Technician (EST) licence (Essential) Full Class 1 Driver Licence Refrigerant Handler’s Certificate Gas & Fillers Licence (or willingness to obtain) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to join the after-hours/on-call roster Desirable Skills & Experience Site Safe certification Experience with VRV/VRF and commercial chillers Extra trade endorsements Why RCR?
