Job Description The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our vibrant and passionate team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our properties operate at the highest standards, delivering an experience that exceeds guest expectations through excellence in property maintenance and safety. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ensure all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and presentation. Proactively respond to guest enquiries and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction and comfort. Develop and implement maintenance plans aligned with property objectives and hotel performance targets. Establish and manage an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program, addressing maintenance, environmental, and conservation requirements. Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, WHS requirements, and building regulations, with proper documentation for internal and external audits. Perform follow-up actions as required to address audit findings and operational improvements. Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as operationally required. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Minimum of five (5) years’ hands-on supervisory experience within the hospitality industry. Recognised trade qualifications (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent) with current and relevant licenses. Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) compliance and building regulations. Demonstrated ability to multitask, take initiative, and manage multiple projects while maintaining an effective preventative maintenance schedule. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, documentation, and scheduling. Job Family Group: Building & Engineering
