Description HVAC Tech position includes being required to fix all air conditioners that might not be functioning properly at the Resort and providing regular overall maintenance checks. This could be in the guests’ rooms, or in any of the public facilities, as well as outdoors. Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements Perform routine preventative maintenance Respond to emergency maintenance requests Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Diagnose cooling, heating, zoning problems on Residential systems Change out extreme burn out compressors and evaporator coils Understand sub cool and superheat Change out condensers and air handlers Braze using a nitrogen shield Understand duck work, diagnose air flow problems, and repair ductwork Perform maintenance and write up maintenance records Communicate warranty issues to the customer Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager Requirements High School education required 5-8 years of experience NATE certification or HVAC trade school Clean driving record Must have your own tools – including hand tools, meters, torches, gauges, pumps Detail oriented and understand the importance of documentation Must understand the IAQ equipment and make recommendations to customer Must understand OSHA safety programs
