Requirements Key Responsibilities: Install and assist in HVAC system setups including mini-splits, RTUs, split/package systems, and heavy commercial/industrial units Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system specifications Perform brazing, soldering, and ductwork installation Operate tools and equipment safely; understand LOTO procedures Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients professionally Document work performed using internal systems (e.g., BuildOps, Paylocity) Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, voltage systems, and airflow Maintain cleanliness and organization on job sites Key Skills: Required (L1–L2): Basic HVAC knowledge and mechanical aptitude Strong work ethic and desire to learn Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions Basic understanding of tools and HVAC safety OSHA 10, EPA 608 (Core/Type I) preferred Preferred (L3–L4): 3+ years experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installs Proficiency with high voltage systems, evacuation procedures, VRF systems Ability to mentor junior techs and manage installation timelines Certifications: OSHA 30, EPA Universal, VRF System Training, Boiler/Chiller Systems, BMS
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include installing and assisting with various HVAC system setups, from mini-splits to heavy commercial units, while reading and interpreting technical specifications like blueprints and wiring diagrams. Technicians must also safely operate tools, collaborate with teams, document work, and adhere strictly to all safety protocols.
