BASIC FUNCTION: The HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct system inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systems. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid HVAC technician certification (i.e. EPA 608 Certification). Heat pump knowledge & experience preferred. Proven experience as an HVAC technician. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and operations. Proficient in using HVAC tools and equipment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
