JOB SUMMARY:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role ensures optimal performance of equipment and systems to provide a comfortable and energy-efficient environment for all facility occupants.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Technical Certification in HVAC or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and controls.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, gauges, and HVAC testing equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Troubleshooting automation and control panels.
  • Valid UAE driving license (Manual)

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and perform corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks and schedules.
  • Monitor and adjust system settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle refrigerants in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform tests and inspections to verify system functionality and safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Maintain records of work orders, repairs, parts used, and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and technical staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform plumbing and electrical tasks related to greenhouse and packhouse equipment as needed.
  • Execute building maintenance activities for office spaces and accommodation facilities.
