A little taste of your day-to-day:

IDEALLY, YOU’LL HAVE SOME OR ALL THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven knowledge in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of the equipment
  • Basic knowledge in Electrical, painting, plumbing and mechanical repairs
  • Trade diploma or equivalent in HVAC/Air conditioning
  • Must be able to operate BMS.

Responsibilities
  • Handle the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including chillers and cooling towers.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas according to the schedule, covering HVAC, basic plumbing, GRMS, and minor interior repairs.
  • Accurately report all tasks performed, including any parts or accessories used, for guest rooms and common areas.
  • Respond to technical support requests and ensure timely resolution of guest complaints and service tickets.
  • Regularly inspect mechanical areas and guest rooms to ensure systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain an up-to-date daily logbook of activities and observations.
  • Assist fellow technicians when needed and always follow hotel safety standards and procedures.
  • Support and participate in the hotel’s energy-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts.
