EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role within the construction or property maintenance industry.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles, mechanical systems, refrigeration processes, and appliance repair techniques.
• Strong understanding of equipment repair methods and maintenance practices related to HVAC/R systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.

DUTIES

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps and gad furnaces.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions for HVAC-related issues.
• Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete installations or repairs as necessary.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site at various locations.
