JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, with a focus on residential Wi-Fi thermostat installation and furnace troubleshooting. You will work directly with customers and contractors, ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet client needs. This position requires travel throughout the Lower Mainland. The successful candidate will be provided with a company vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified HVAC Technician with completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
  • Required: Level C Gas Fitter ticket (Level B is an asset).
  • Preferred: Valid BC Refrigeration ticket or equivalent (Ozone Depletion Potential, Draft Protection, and Ozone Depleting Substances).
  • Additional Assets: Low GWP/A2L refrigeration ticket and furnace repair certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience, specializing in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (including furnaces).
  • Experience with Wi-Fi thermostat installation is a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills for heating and cooling systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

Responsibilities
  • HVAC Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, including Wi-Fi thermostats and heating equipment.
  • Customer & Contractor Relations: Serve as the on-site company representative, resolving HVAC issues, promoting energy efficiency programs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Management & Travel: Manage appointments and travel within the designated territory to deliver HVAC services efficiently.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
  • Program Participation: Support and encourage participation in energy efficiency initiatives, fostering strong client and contractor relationships.
