Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes. The ideal candidate should have solid troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a strong understanding of HVAC systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems, including central AC units, split systems, and window units.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or breakdowns and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Test refrigerant levels and identify leaks using pressure gauges and leak detection equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems such as compressors, motors, fans, relays, and sensors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during installation and repair activities.
• Advise customers on proper system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices.
• Maintain accurate service records, timesheets, and job notes.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in AC system installation and maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Technical training or certification in HVAC systems is preferred.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with various types of AC units and their components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as an HVAC Technician.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles and practices.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring.
• Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC installations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
