The Gurley Leep Automotive Family is growing, and we are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems across our 23 dealerships. Based in our Mishawaka, IN offices, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero keeping showrooms, service shops, and offices comfortable year-round. WHAT YOU’LL DO Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across multiple dealership locations in the Midwest Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues quickly and recommend effective solutions and make repairs Provide emergency repairs and on-call support as needed and/or directed by manager Work closely with leadership to prioritize repairs Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and code requirements Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology WHY WORK WITH US? Requirements WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR HVAC certification or equivalent technical training 5+ years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience (commercial preferred) Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and sustainability practices Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and sustainability practices Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Self-starter mindset with solid communication skills
Responsibilities
The HVAC Technician will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across multiple dealership locations. They will also perform preventative maintenance and provide emergency repairs as needed.
