Position Overview Now Hiring: HVAC Technician Location: Dothan, ALJob Type: Full-TimePay: Up to 30.00 per hour (based on experience) About the Role Bob Woodall Air Care Systems is seeking a hard‑working, dedicated HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Dothan, AL. This position is responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer service. We are looking for technicians with prior experience who take pride in their work. Additional training opportunities are available for candidates who want to continue developing their skills. What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Incentive plans Paid vacation and sick time Long‑term, full‑time employment Ongoing training and development HVAC Technician Duties & Responsibilities Travel to scheduled residential and/or commercial job sites daily Perform customer consultations and assess HVAC system needs Inspect HVAC systems for safety, efficiency, and performance Perform preventative maintenance to extend system lifespan Conduct performance testing using specialized diagnostic tools Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues Install or service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and solutions Recommend and sell ongoing maintenance contracts when appropriate Maintain punctuality and manage a daily schedule with multiple appointments Requirements & Qualifications 1–5 years of HVAC experience required EPA certification required HVAC certification or Associate’s degree from a technical school preferred Previous on‑the‑job HVAC training Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills Valid state driver’s license Ability to operate a motor vehicle Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check Punctual, dependable, and able to adhere to daily schedules Pay Range USD $24.00 - USD $30.00 /Yr.
