Ladouceur Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our growing team, offering competitive pay, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment.
As a skilled HVAC Technician, you’ll play a key role in installing, retrofitting, and servicing commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. From new construction projects to complex upgrades and maintenance work, this position offers a diverse and hands-on opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • G1 & G2 HVAC certification (required).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in HVAC services for industrial/commercial applications
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and team members.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, lift overhead, and perform physical tasks including carrying items, using hands, arms, vision, and voice effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have own hand tools and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, rooftop units, tube heaters, furnaces, ductless splits, and refrigeration systems in both residential and commercial applications.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Rebuild faulty components and replace parts as needed. Clean, charge, and maintain refrigeration systems, including Freon recharging and handling hermetic burnouts.
  • Provide clear service reports, educate customers on system operation and maintenance, and offer energy-saving solutions. Prioritize customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, government regulations, and company procedures to ensure systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to ensure top-quality service. Coordinate and prioritize jobs effectively, keeping clients informed about progress and status.
  • Maintain logs of work performed, submit service reports, and update the Service Manager on work orders and repair status. Create work orders, purchase orders, and provide pricing recommendations for repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
  • Connect HVAC systems to ductwork, piping, electrical systems, and controls.
  • Perform start-up and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
