Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various type of commercial HVAC equipment · Perform routine preventative maintenance · Respond to emergency service requests · Educate customers by offering proactive repairs, system upgrades and maintenance agreements · Complete daily paperwork · Adhere to all safety policies and procedures · Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in you company vehicle · Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends as required Requirements Education/Experience Union Local 32 or 66 member or willing to join Qualifications The following qualifications along with individuals previous work experience will be considered by the company when evaluating applicants. · High School Diploma or GED Equivalent · Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record · Ability to climb ladders · Moderate lifting (up to 75lbs) · Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service and troubleshoot equipment · Good electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic skills · Excellent Customer Service Skills · Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork Compensation and Benefits Compensation is paid in accordance with the union PayScale. Benefits are administered by the Union Resumes and applications for employment will be evaluated based on qualifications to meet the requirements of the position and ability to perform the requirements of the position.
Responsibilities
The HVAC Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of commercial HVAC equipment while performing routine preventative maintenance. They will also respond to emergency service requests and educate customers on proactive repairs and maintenance agreements.
