Levitt-Safety is hiring multiple HVAC Technicians to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. This is an attractive schedule offering 14 days on and 14 days off, flights and accommodation provided, or a living allowance for local technicians. As a critical member of our Field Service Team, you’ll keep essential mobile equipment running safely and efficiently in demanding industrial environments. Your work directly supports customer uptime, site safety, and operational excellence. You will: Inspect, maintain, and repair mobile HVAC systems on heavy-duty industrial and off-road equipment to ensure peak performance and safety. Diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance on A/C systems in accordance with OEM standards. Manage and maintain your service vehicle inventory, anticipating customer needs and minimizing downtime. Cross-train on fire protection systems, assisting with the inspection, service, and installation of vehicle fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers. Provide in-shop support and collaborate with teammates as operational needs require. Champion a safety-first culture, completing required inspections, certifications, and strictly following company safety policies. Actively contribute to Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and follow established Safe Work Practices. Support other Levitt-Safety branches across Canada as required. What You Bring You have the technical skill, discipline, and safety mindset needed to succeed in a remote, high-performance environment. Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining mobile air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems on heavy-duty or mining equipment OR A valid Red Seal (Journeyman) certification in one of the following: Automotive Service Technician Truck and Trailer Technician Heavy Equipment Technician Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with mobile equipment experience Fire equipment servicing experience or training (considered an asset). Ability to successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol testing to meet customer site requirements.
