You will participate in development and maintenance of MACH products in Automation and Digitization domain, making them even more reliable and robust, influencing HVDC technology of Hitachi Energy. 2. You will be supporting in detailed application development of HVDC Control & Protection System dedicated in one of the following areas: Automation and Digitization, Database and Server, Human Machine Interface, Station Control, Supervision and Monitoring, Operating System Localization and HVDC control and Protection. 3. You will be supporting in detailed software function implementation with specific software design tools and conceptual design & software design documentation both for internal and external purposes. 4. You will do technical support to the hardware-in-the-loop tests of HVDC Control & Protection System (both in the company and the customer facility) from software perspective. 5. You will do technical support to Marketing and Sales from software design perspective, especially the support to the tenders 6. You will do technical support to Customer Service from software design perspective including customer meetings, on-site fault analysis, customer trainings and maintenance outages, etc. 7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. 8. You hold a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation, or a degree deemed to be equivalent, with basic knowledge. 2. Knowledge and/or experiences in at least of one of the following areas: Coding: C, C++, Software engineering: Frontend, backend, Communication protocol: IEC61850, OPC-UA, IEC60044-8, FT3, HTML, Web, Database: SQL database, Dameng, OS: Linux, Qilin, SCADA/HMI development: Intouch, Qt, HVDC, Electric Power System Analysis, Automatic Control Theory, Power System Simulation. 3. Adequate communication skills for effective cooperation with colleagues, partners, customers and other necessary stakeholders. 4. Willing to and capable of working with challenges, uncertainties and flexibility, acceptance of engineering travels are preferred. 5. Understanding deadlines, budgetary constraints to achieve on time and on quality delivery within the budget, innovation spirit in your daily work for better and faster delivery. 6. Collaboration awareness based on trust to present ideas and solutions to colleagues, partners, customers and other necessary stakeholders. 7. Working experiences with the followings will be considered as a plus: Actual coding experiences for DSP, FPGA, DRTOS (INTime, for example), Windows, Linux or Unix, PSCAD, Matlab, or any other simulation software available for electric power system and control system, RTDS, Hypersim, or any other electric power system simulators. 8. Knowledge and/or experiences in HVDC control and protection will be considered as a plus. 9. Fluent written and spoken English.
