Job Description Summary The HW Engineering intern will: 1. Assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems. 2. Perform schematic reviews and PCB layout checks under supervision. 3. Support hardware validation and troubleshooting activities. 4. Document test results, design changes, and technical findings. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration. 6. Maintain lab equipment and organize test setups. Job Description Job Responsibilities * Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of hardware components for medical imaging systems and other medical devices. * Conduct laboratory experiments, collect data, and perform preliminary analysis under supervision. * Support the assembly, modification, and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes. * Participate in design reviews, providing input and learning from experienced engineers. * Document technical specifications, test procedures, and experimental results. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineering. * Learn and apply industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device development. * Maintain a clean and organized lab environment. --- Job Qualifications * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Strong academic record with a solid understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles (e.g., circuit analysis, digital logic, analog electronics). * Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. * Basic programming skills (e.g., C, Python) for hardware interaction or data analysis are advantageous. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English. * Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in medical technology.
