Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care Attendant/Client Service Representative

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in animal care
• Knowledgeable in animal handling, medical terminology, and basic veterinary procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES ACA:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Provide compassionate care and handling of animals
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including exam rooms and kennels
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and education
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostics
• Support the team in daily operations and emergencies
  -Maintain surgical equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES CSR:

-Our veterinary receptionists are responsible for booking examinations and surgical procedures, coordinating with insurance companies as well as contacting other clinics for medical record transfers.
-Inventory management, placing and receiving product orders from suppliers will be a daily activity.
-Exceptional client communication skills with a positive and friendly demeanor
-Be able to help animals of all temperaments feel more comfortable at the veterinary clinic
-Strong knowledge of common veterinary medical issues
