  • Proven Sales and Key Account Management Experience: Successful field experience in pharmaceutical Hospital/Specialty sales and key account management, with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Specialty Knowledge: Hospital/Specialty Sales experience in Endocrinology strongly preferred
  • Tender Familiarity: Knowledge of the NSW Hospital Tender and formulary processes
  • Educational Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in science or business and Medicines Australia certification
  • Account Management Mindset: Proactive self-management and ownership of results
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in CRM databases and MS Office
  • Valid Credentials: A valid driver’s license, residency, and work rights in Australia

LIVE - WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join our growing NSW Specialty team and make a real impact with our newly PBS-listed Osteoporosis product. In this dynamic role, you’ll shape patient outcomes across Sydney South, Central, and North, working within NSW hospital systems (formulary and protocol changes) and supporting selected GP surgeries through education and key partnerships for Amgen’s Patient Access Program. We seek individuals with a strong account management focus in both public and private markets, forward-thinking, self-motivated, and accountable professionals ready to maximize each account’s potential. Work closely with our Medical Science Liaison and sales team to unlock the full potential of each account and be part of something transformative. This 12-month fixed term contract role reports directly to the National Sales Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Secure Formulary Listings and protocol changes: Achieve formulary listings and protocol changes for our newly PBS-listed Osteoporosis product in key hospital accounts
  • Increase usage of the Patient access program across key Hospital and selected key GP surgery users of the program
  • Drive Sales Growth: Maximize product sales across your territory by implementing strategic initiatives and engaging with healthcare professionals
  • Cultivate Partnerships: Build strong relationships with Endocrinologists to provide value through education and support
  • Collaborate for Success: Develop and adapt territory and account plans with key stakeholders for optimal results
  • Meet and Exceed KPIs: Consistently achieve customer and territory KPIs, documenting interactions in the CRM
  • Proactively Monitor the Market: Anticipate competitive threats and identify opportunities to inform strategy
