Job Description
We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant - Hybrid Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team on a full-time, part-time or Casual basis.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant - Hybrid Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor you will play a vital role in the provision of psychological interventions, assessments and workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. As part of the team you’ll support people to get well and working.

Responsibilities

AS A VALUED TEAM MEMBER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Undertaking psychological assessments, field visits, initial, worksite, functional, and early intervention assessments
  • Conducting Vocational and Adjustment to Injury Counselling
  • Identifying Psychological, Social, and Return to Work (RTW) barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Undertaking Vocational Assessments and Transferable Skills Analyses
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
    Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Full Accreditation from AHPRA or ASORC or able to obtain one
  • Willingness to commence additional studies as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by WorkFocus Australia
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
