LVI Associates is currently partnered with a leading regional southeastern firm with a large presence across North Carolina looking to bring on a hydraulic engineer to focus on transportation projects out of one of their North Carolina offices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in hydraulic design, including bridges, culverts, and stormwater infrastructure
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Proficiency in GIS and design software such as Open Roads Designer or Civil3D
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with 2D flood modeling using HEC-RAS
• Background in Best Management Practices (BMP) inspection and design
• Certification in Construction Management Fundamentals (CMF)
• Experience engaging with clients and public agencies
