KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Process ‘goods in/out’ in an accurate and timely manner.
· Liaise with Supervisor (or designate) regarding discrepancies or quality issues identified during the goods in/out and stock control processes.
· Responsible for ensuring orders for shipping are suitable packaged in accordance with relevant legislation.
· Responsible for with stock control and checks.
· Perform inspection and testing activities on workshop equipment and tools.
· Complete required documentation and report all defects/requirements to the Supervisor (or designate) in a timely manner.
· Assist Workshop in the completion of operational tasks as required.
· Participate in the general day-to-day workshop and yard housekeeping activities.
· Carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
· Observe the company policies and procedures relating to work, administration, and HSSEQ.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of hydraulic hose assemblies and components is essential.
  • Proficient in the Goods in/out process
  • Previous experience with computer systems is essential.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
  • Follow instructions accurately.
  • Familiar with safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Qualifications & Certification:
  • Full UK drivers’ licence.
  • National 5 Pass in English & Maths (or equivalent) or Numeracy and Literacy: Competent in both.
  • Forklift operator’s license desirable.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

The primary role of the job holder is to assist in various day-to-day warehouse activities such as goods in/out and stock control. The job holder will also be required to assist in workshop activities such as the inspection, testing, cleaning and packing of offshore workshop containers.
