This role plays a critical part in ensuring the proper functioning of hydraulic equipment, machinery, and systems in various industries, such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and transportation.   Key Responsibilities Hydraulic System Installation * Install, assemble, and test hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, hoses, cylinders, and reservoirs. * Ensure that hydraulic systems meet industry standards and specifications. * Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute installations.   Testing and Calibration * Conduct pressure and flow tests to verify the performance and efficiency of hydraulic systems. * Calibrate hydraulic equipment and components to meet operational requirements.   Documentation * Maintain detailed records of hydraulic system installations, maintenance, and repairs. * Create reports and documentation for clients and internal records. Safety Compliance * Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safe operation of hydraulic systems. * Educate team members and clients on hydraulic system safety best practices.   Tool and Equipment Management * Manage and maintain hydraulic installation tools and equipment. * Ensure that tools and equipment are in proper working condition.   Customer Interaction * Interact with customers to provide information, address concerns, and offer recommendations for hydraulic system improvements.   Continuous Learning * Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in hydraulic systems. * Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.   Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in hydraulic systems is a plus. * Proven experience in hydraulic system installation, maintenance, and repair * Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and blueprints. * Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude * Knowledge of hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinders. * Familiarity with hydraulic fluid types, filtration systems, and contamination control. * Ability to work independently and in a team. * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and maneuver heavy hydraulic components and equipment. * Comfort working in confined spaces and at various heights. * Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and travel to job sites as needed.
