Bell Hydraulics is a small business in Cwmbran. We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to provide innovative and efficient hydraulic design solutions. We manufacture hydraulic units to a high standard, provide excellent solutions for hydraulic problems and hydraulics service provision. Due to continued growth, Bell Hydraulics are looking for a Hydraulic Service Engineer. This is an exciting, varied position in a company with decades of expertise in the fluid power industry. Working with a great team of experienced engineers.

SKILLS:

  • Ideally knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Ideally knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex hydraulic systems
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally 3-5 years minimum experience, with proven results, working in a hydraulic engineering field.
  • Understanding of engineering practices and applications
  • Good understanding of current IT systems and their potential benefits to the organisation, as a minimum Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe etc.
  • Administratively effective – keep business information updated, easily accessible and secure

  • A proven background working in similar role(s) within an engineering manufacturing
    environment
  • Ability to multi-task and accept and adapt to rapidly changing priorities typical in the
    reactive environment we work in.
  • Effectively communicates with all members of company staff and in particular the
    engineering design team
  • Effectively communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Deal with problems and challenges politely, professionally efficiently and effectively
