THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a role doing what you love at a dynamic and innovative consulting firm? We are looking for a Hydrogeologist to join our team in any of our BC locations on a permanent full-time basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in hydrogeology or related environmental consulting work.
  • CSAP designation required.
  • Registered or eligible as a P.Geo or similar professional designation in British Columbia.
  • Strong technical writing, communication and project management skills.
  • Field experience with groundwater monitoring, drilling and sampling techniques.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
  • Safety training/certification and knowledge of standard safety practices.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct hydrogeological assessments for environmental site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and remediation projects.
  • Design and implement groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and monitoring programs.
  • Analyze and interpret hydrogeologic data using numerical and analytical models.
  • Environmental Site Assessments and Remediation.
  • Environmental Monitoring and Telemetry.
  • Prepare technical reports and contribute to regulatory submissions.
  • Supports permitting processes.
  • Assist in complex proposals and reports, on time and withing budget.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies as needed.
