HYDROVAC OPERATOR

Location: Aurora, ON
Compensation: $42.48
PGC Services Inc. is a rapidly growing leader in Ontario’s Hydrovac Excavation market. We are seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Aurora, ON. A DZ license is required, while an AZ license is considered an asset.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid DZ license (AZ license is an asset).
• 1-3 years of experience operating Hydro-Vac trucks (preferred but not required).
• Previous experience in construction or excavation is an asset.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

• Safely operate Hydro-Vac trucks and equipment for excavation projects, including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and excavation around underground infrastructure.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for Hydro-Vac operation.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance, and general housekeeping to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Accurately complete job-related paperwork and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Work in confined spaces, lift up to 75 lbs, and be available for irregular shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
