HYGIENE MANAGER - NIGHT SHIFT

Evesham
Salary - £42,848pa
Shift Patterns available (there are two positions):
Saturday - Tuesday - 7pm -5am
OR
Thursday - Sunday - 7pm -5am
Are you an experienced Hygiene Manager ready to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a proactive and driven professional to take ownership of our night hygiene operations, ensuring the site is always audit-ready and compliant with the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Hygiene Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the night hygiene function, managing and motivating a team to deliver excellence
  • Ensure full compliance with customer, legal, and internal hygiene standards
  • Develop and implement hygiene strategies, KPIs, and training plans
  • Manage the hygiene budget effectively, driving cost efficiencies without compromising standards
  • Act as key liaison with chemical providers to ensure the right products and processes are in place
  • Work cross-functionally with production, technical and engineering teams to continuously improve site hygiene performance
  • Support preparation for BRC and customer audits
  • Build a positive team culture focused on high standards, collaboration and continuous improvement

Hygiene Manager Requirements:

  • Previous hygiene management experience in a food production environment
  • Deep understanding of food safety regulations, cleaning systems, and hygiene best practices
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop, coach and support your team
  • Experience working with third-party standards such as BRC and customer Codes of Practice
  • Confident communicator with strong planning, problem-solving and organisational abilities
  • Minimum HACCP Level 3 qualification

Based near Evesham, this Hygiene Manager role is commutable from Worcester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon
