Job Description Sofitel Riyadh is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our luxurious establishment. The Hygiene Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff by implementing and monitoring hygiene practices and standards in accordance with local and international regulations. Key Responsibilities: Implement hygiene policies and procedures. Monitor and enforce compliance with hygiene standards and regulations. Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of all areas, including kitchens, restaurants, guest rooms, and public areas. Ensure all hygiene practices meet the standards of local health authorities and international best practices. food safety and hygiene practices in all food and beverage outlets. Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. Oversee pest control measures and liaise with pest control services. Prepare and submit hygiene reports to the management team. Document and follow up on corrective actions for any hygiene-related issues. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to address any hygiene-related hazards or risks. Participate in health and safety committee meetings and initiatives. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding hygiene and cleanliness. Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the property. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a related field. Strong knowledge of local and international hygiene standards and regulations. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
