We have an exciting opportunity to join our fast growing Hygiene Department and are currently seeking Skilled Hygiene Operatives from within the food manufacturing industry. This is a nights role, 8hr shift, 5 days a week. This also includes an outstanding shift premium of 25%.
We have vacancies for 5 people on a shift pattern of Tuesday to Saturday on 10pm to 6am and 4 people on a shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Carry out simple wipe-down of the lines and production equipment as directed by your line management.
• Refilling of dispensers in production and general areas.
• Maintenance of hygiene schedules and sign off sheets.
• Maintain cleaning equipment / utensils / tools.
• Removal / recycle of waste from the factory floor.
• Emptying of Bulk Food/Non-Food waste containers from factory floor into designated food waste skips or areas through operation of forklift or manual pump trucks.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored in a tidy manner and in the correct location (Food Contact/Non-Food Contact.
• Post Cleaning Checks.
• To undertake COSHH training & chemical handling in line with chemical suppliers requirements.
• Clean and maintain Hygiene Cleaning Machines and report any damages.
• Maintain external areas, by cleaning, litter picking, wiping fabrications, bins and other items.
• Ensure amenities, toilets, changing rooms, meeting rooms, vestibules, kitchens, stores, packing areas, freezers, warehouses, workshops, external storages and similar are kept clean, tidy and audit ready at all times.
