We’re looking for a dedicated and meticulous Hygiene Operative to join our team based in Forfar. In this crucial role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across our production areas, upholding our commitment to food safety and quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within a food manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of all food processing equipment, machinery, and production lines.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for effective cleaning.
  • Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and drains in production and storage areas.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Complete and maintain accurate cleaning records and checklists.
  • Report any equipment faults or potential hygiene risks to the line manager.
  • Adhere to strict Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
