Now, we’re looking for a Hygiene Operative to join us and help drive this mission forward.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & TEAMWORK

• Looking for efficiency improvements and challenging existing processes where necessary.
• Creating and maintaining a tidy work environment, following the “clean as you go” policy.

WHAT SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

We’re looking for someone who is deep rooted, passionate about people, the planet, and (of course) leafy greens, someone who thrives in a collaborative and purpose driven environment.

Must have skills:

• Attention to Detail – Ensuring high hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.
• Understanding of Food Hygiene Standards – Knowledge of cleaning best practices in a food production environment.
• Team Player – Ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in a Hygiene or Cleaning Role – Particularly in a food production or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of COSHH Regulations – Understanding safe handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.

YOUR ROLE

We’re looking for a Hygiene Operative to ensure our vertical farm remains a clean, safe, and hygienic environment that meets, if not exceeds, all food hygiene standards. This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence by supporting the production of high-quality food products in a hygienic setting.
Location: This role will be based in Sandwich with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
You’ll work closely with the production, quality, and technical teams, playing a key role in maintaining hygiene standards across the facility. As part of this role, you’ll be expected to stand tall—delivering results with integrity and accountability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

A typical day may involve working in the following areas, carrying out key hygiene tasks:

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

• 3 months in – You’ve rooted yourself in our business, built strong relationships, and understand our hygiene procedures inside out.
• 6 months in – You’ve taken ownership of hygiene tasks, identified areas for improvement, and are contributing to process efficiency.
• 12 months in – You’ve driven measurable impact in hygiene standards, helping shape best practices for the future.
