JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our food manufacturing warehouse. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and sanitary environment in line with food safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Must ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Must ensure all hygiene working practises are always adhered to.
  • To dismantle production lines and carry out deep cleans.
  • To carry out deep cleans of refrigeration units.
  • To work as part of the Food safety hygiene team.
  • To be able to understand robust hygiene schedules.
  • To use cleaning machinery such as floor machines, steam cleaners, Industrial washers.
  • To use chemicals to carry out deep cleans.
  • To be flexible and have a very good work ethic.
  • To have a pro-active approach.
  • To work to tight schedules and deadlines.
  • To be results driven.
  • To have a good timekeeping and attendance record.
  • Full training provided.
    Drive a Food Safety/hygiene Culture – role modelling good behaviour and communicating the standards expected. Be pro-active. Show a desire to improve current working practises, systems of work within the department. Build a relationship with other departmental managers and the SLT to ensure HACCP procedures are followed. Problems are solved and all elements of food safety are maintained.
