It’s the perfect time to join The Original Baker, with our new leadership team, a brand-new bakery with large staff canteen, great shifts, generous pay rates and new benefits!
Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to lead a small and dedicated hygiene team whilst ensuring our brand-new factory meets and exceeds the highest hygiene and safety standards. Our Hygiene team currently work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
We are offering £14.60 per hour. Optional overtime is often available and paid at time and a half. We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to join our team who is available to work set shifts Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Working in our Factory you will ensure that all sweet production areas, equipment, and workspaces meet strict hygiene and cleanliness standards to maintain food safety and comply with regulatory requirements.
Supervise and coordinate a small team of Hygiene Operatives.
Collaborate with the Technical Manager to design and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
Perform regular inspections to identify and rectify hygiene issues promptly.
Keep meticulous records of cleaning activities for audits and compliance.
Work closely with the Technical Manager to refine and optimise cleaning processes.
Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience in a similar role within a food production environment.
In-depth knowledge of hygiene practices and safety regulations.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
