Stonegate Farmers Ltd is an integrated free range and organic egg business organised across three divisions comprising farming and agriculture, egg packing and cooked egg processing. Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience leading & managing a diverse workforce is essential for this role
• Hygiene knowledge and experience is essential for this role.
• Food Safety and HACCAP Certificates are highly advantageous for this role.
• COSHH Certificate or knowledge.
• Warehouse experience advantageous but not essential for this role
• High Care Food experience is highly advantageous but not essential for this role

ROLE: HYGIENE TEAM LEADER - NIGHTS

Stonegate Farmers Ltd is seeking a Hygiene Team Leader to join our Egg Innovation Hygiene Division based at our Production Facilities in Lacock, Wiltshire.
As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will providing guidance and training to the departmental hygiene operatives, ensuring all hygiene regulations and policies are upheld and assist in the cleaning of all surfaces and machinery within our Egg Innovation Centre.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and coordinate hygiene team members to achieve cleaning schedules and hygiene targets.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members to ensure they follow hygiene procedures correctly.
• Plan and allocate tasks to ensure effective team coverage during shifts.
• Conduct team briefings, ensuring clear communication of expectations and standards.
• Oversee the execution of daily, weekly, and deep cleaning schedules.
• Ensure cleaning is carried out in compliance with BRC, retailer standards, and internal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning records to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
• Conduct hygiene inspections and audits to identify non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Work closely with the Hygiene Manager to manage chemical usage, ensuring correct dilution rates, safe handling, and storage.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the site.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH, Health & Safety, and Food Safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and safe to use.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Support the implementation of new hygiene initiatives and best practices.
• Engage with other departments to resolve hygiene-related issues promptly.
